Welcome to Evenindee Homestead!

We’re a family of five – Darren, Daneve, Tahlin, Zahladee, and our beloved Border Collie, Nindee – living our dream on 40 beautiful acres in Captain Creek, Queensland.

Our journey began on the open road, travelling Australia in a caravan for two years, exploring the land and embracing a simpler way of life. Along the way, we discovered a deep love for living closer to nature, growing our own food, and creating a lifestyle that fosters connection – with the land, with each other, and with the people we meet.

In 2024, we put down roots here at Evenindee Homestead with a dream of building a self-sufficient, sustainable haven – a place where family and friends can gather, laugh, learn, and enjoy the serenity of country living.

From tending to our veggie gardens, raising animals, and crafting homemade goods, to simply enjoying a sunset by the fire with loved ones, we’re embracing every step of the homesteading life.
